The POWER of a brand can be immeasurable...

Sorry to stick with the Nike theme, but it's something almost everyone can relate to. Which is part of our point. If you asked someone in the 70's what that symbol to the right is they'd probably tell you it looks like a comet or some kind of ancient knife. Now, ask nearly anyone ON THE PLANET what that is, and they'll tell you it's the Nike Swoosh. 
A small running shoe company from Oregon took branding to a whole new level.  

Case in point. 


A brand is MORE than just a logo, a symbol, or a slogan. It's an attitude, a philosophy, and an essence. It is a visual and auditory representation of your business and what drives it. It can also be the necessary ingredient to separate you from your competition, and propel you to the top.

Think about companies like Nike, Apple, GEICO, Mastercard, Southwest Airlines, UPS, Yahoo!... even AFLAC (yes, the Duck!). There are PLENTY of other companies that do EXACTLY what these companies do, and maybe even cheaper.

You may be thinking - that's all well and good, but a) we don't have a $50 million marketing budget, OR b) we're not selling a sexy consumer-directed product like footwear or computers.

True, but even if you're a mom-and-pop store with ONE LOCATION; even if you have a $500 marketing budget, you STILL have a brand. Whether you sell Lingerie or Liquid Plumber, BRANDING can still set you apart from the competition.
